This Friday we put a spotlight on new Oslo-based singer Marie Noreger, as she releases her excellent single ‘Eager To Feel’ from her debut EP. Her sound is perfect for these dark evenings, so sit back and chill to her jazzy sound and gorgeous vocals. We’re excited to hear the full EP and what else Marie does in 2021!

Tell us who you are and what is your sound?

Eager to Feel is the song I find myself the most comfortable in, just because it’s in the same family to what music I’ve always enjoyed the most. 

Organic, jazzy and laid-back sounds makes me feel at home. It’s something about the rhythm and the flow. 

In the end I believe it reflects a little on who I am as well. 

What exciting projects have you got coming up?

My first EP ever is coming out early 2021!! 

Where did you grow up and what music influenced you?

I grew up on an island outside of Oslo. I had a lot of time to enjoy nature and simple things as a child. 

I’ve been diving into so many different genres.. and I love it all! But house, soul, Jazz and 70s rock has always influenced me in another way. 

What cool places do you recommend visiting in your city?

Right now the city is quiet due to Covid, but once this is over I’m looking forward to enjoy:

Finally, what was the last thing that made you swear out loud?

The weather.. It’s getting dark around 4:00 pm at the moment, makes me frustrated.
