One of the great films we caught at Hot Docs was ‘Help, I’ve Gone Viral!’, a Norwegian entry at the festival.

The film follows the aftermath when one man’s song about his favourite dish in Indonesia goes viral overnight, and the unbelievable story that followed.

It is a truly wonderful little film that fills you with joy, something that you don’t always get when watching a documentary!

Alex spoke to both the star and director of the documentary – both named Audun – to find out more about the film and what their plans are next (hint to distributors or buyers out there – there is lots of footage available to make this a feature so get making this happen)!
